Nice example, the badge is likely the black version, but being bronze based. A ring-shaped, flat band intersects the rune and bears the inscription “FÜR LEISTUNGEN IN DER D.J.” (“For Proficiency in the DJ”) in raised letters purposely designed with a runic look to them. The badge is in nice condition; the burnished inscription background gives the letters great relief. The reverse is in fine condition with nearly all of its dark toned bronze wash. The pin is in excellent condition and functions well (good tension). Solid example.
