EM/NCO´s belt and buckle set size 110 named, mint.

Great set, with the buckle in great condition and still retaining about 98% of the medium green combat paint.  The steel, where exposed, shows a nice, deep toning. The reverse of the buckle is well marked with the impressed manufacturer´s initials "R.S. & S.", indicating manufacture by Richard Sieper & Söhne of Lüdenscheid. The belt leather is stamped “110” at the eyelet end – indicating the German size and the manufacturer´s name and date "1940". The belt’s black dyed exterior surface shows a moderate degree of scuff wear, the black worn to brown in some areas. The tongue is in good condition, though quite dark, and remains fairly supple with no cracking. The side of the belt shows some light stress cracking around the holes, so it would probably wise to give this belt some good leather care if you want to return it to a fully healthy condition – but we leave that to the collector’s choice. The belt is marked with the name of the owner "Erich Kipp". Overall a sound example of this vintage!
